Are.Sanguinary Guard a Ward invention or have they been around for awhile? They dont seem especially silly so I'm not sure its a huge issue but I'm curious.

Of course the BAs really didn't have much of a codex prior to this one. So their fluff was fairly lacking.
Just like GKs, who had next to nothing.
The Black Templars had more fluff then BAs and GKs combined before their new codices.

Thanks. I had checked out the lexicanum article (actually the wikia one... the color scheme on lexicanum is terrible) which matched up with the codex, but I wasn't sure if there were extra details that didn't make it in.
