I'm beginning work rebuilding my old 3rd edition Space Marine army, which were predominatly Bad Moon Yellow. I want to be able to paint up new models to field along side my old ones without them appearing too noticably different, so was wondering if people have experience with the availiable alternatives.

Currently I'm leaning towards Citadel Flash Gitz Yellow or Vallejo Game Colour Bald Moon Yellow

Imperial Guard- Cadian 404th- 2500pts
Orks- Krugz Krushaz- 2000pts
Space Marines- Storm Enforcers- 300pts (starting over)

I've had reasonably good luck with VGC Bald Moon Yellow. I say "reasonably" because, like pretty much any yellow, coverage is less than fantastic. Over a solid base (I use Iyanden Darksun, I'm sure there's an equivalent in the new line and others), though, it works up nicely after a few thin coats.

Haven't paid much attention to the new Citadel line, so I can't comment on how close of a match Flash Gitz Yellow is, let alone how well it performs.
