Hello dakka !

Just wanted to let you know my FLGS is calling players to arms in an effort to kick start LOTR in our community.
So far we have 10 participants.

The red shirt in charge forged a narrative campaign we are going to follow, called the quest of Anduril. The forces of good will have 3 main objectives, capturing an elven scroll, rescuing Darthos the pure, and securing his mythical hammer. The forces of Evil must stop them at all costs, there failure would result in the return of the king.

We all pick up 250 pts worth of models next week, and the fun begins !

I will make a Dakka Blog and post regular updates, with pictures and the story line our FLGS is going to write to go with it.


Note : Some rules will be ignored early on, such as the bow limitation and the warrior to captain ratio. This will be subject to change.

Good luck with it. Looking forward to see how it all turns out. I still have fond memories of using the LOTR strategy/ battle company rules to run a small scale campaigns always a good time.

My hole childhood is full of Lotr strategy games tbh.

The kickoff is next tuesday, i'll start the blog and link it here in the coming week, with a breakdown of the starting forces.
