Hey all, finished painting a Bad Moon style Battlewagon for my friend. What do you guys think, it was painted to a basic table top level.

My favorite part is the subtle weathering of the yellow but the model itself deserves some more color variation. Maybe more shades of yellow? Also, really loving that text on the front!

How did you get such a smooth looking metal? That part's working well

Love the work!
I think more work on the secondary color and the battle damage is required though.

More Snakebite dirty than Bad Moon gaudy. But I like the look of the battlewagon.

I really like it, I just can't help but think a few grots or orks poking out of some of those openings will really help a ton.

Good stuff! Looks a little like one of Rommels 'Tigers', but I'm loving it all the same...

The irregular pooling and brush stroke evidence in the wash on the flat panels sort of kills the yellow, for me. Whether it's actually the case or not, I don't see intentional weathering - I see misuse of a wash.

That's my "painters take," at least. If I step back, it doesn't look bad, at all. As a tabletop job, it's more than ready.

I actually like the way your BW came out, but it doesn't strike me as being Bad Moon. If I just saw it I would certainly assume Snakebite. Still, i like what you did with the trukk. Cheers.

Nice desert yellow there, very Afrika corps.
