So has anyone else gotten this yet? I have to say its incredibly fun and brings a lot more teamwork than normal into your average online shooter

I've been playing it a lot as a Lerk, marines don't seem to expect to be shot back and take far too long to react to the machinegun hail of spikes.

The beta was pretty bad< I preordered it ages ago.

It was just a badly polished mod, that was a few revisions ago so its possible it could have all come together in the last few patches, I'll try it out again this weekend at some point and report back

I love the game, I just wish I was a little bit better at it.

I feel like this is the only game (and MoHAA) im not constantly in the top tiers with. (I dont do multiplayer RTS)

Yeah, I'll say no to this, still

-Not sure if cheats are already out, or new skins are allowed, or what, but hiding in the dark as alien is virtually impossible
-poor hit detection/attack detection, about 75% of the time you're dead before you know you're being shot at, no tracer fire, no real indication you are in danger
-aliens almost entirely rely on speed, in other words you're relying on the other guy missing, not you necessarily being better at dodging.

Depends on how close you are to a marine base, they have scanners which detect aliens on the map

I actually like that, a lot more unforgivable until you get better at it

Aliens do rely on speed, I mean if you're charging head on at a marine you're doing something wrong

Honestly so much of this game depends on having a good team and commander, with both of those it's probably one of my favorite shooters to date; but if the teams aren't good then it turns to really fast
