i just started the hords 2 player starter i have the leagion side, any tips on what i should do for my army?

Play more games and determine your play style. Then determine what points you want to hit with your army.

WM/H is not about auto includes, it's about synergies and combinations. Each Warcaster/lock has their own way of playing. If you like a more beast heavy army you'll want to think about switching to Thagy or Aby, more control maybe Vayl or Saeryn. Lylyth is a good midrange warlock, as well as Rhyas.

PLylyth likes her some beasts with ranged support, and that is what you got with her side of the starter, to build upon that I'd suggest to get the Heavy warbeast box and magnetize it so you can play all three versions of that beast.

thanks for the advice, i also play warmachine so i know somewhat of what im doing for hordes ( khador army)

also can the 4 shreders use their animus on the carniveon all at once

Nope. A warbeast can only be influenced by 1 Animi at a time.
