Silly question but I am used to mixing unit types of say Infantry and Calvary from 5th edition. Is this still possible? If so, where can I find it in the rules?

I realise movement is (or was in 5th) directed by the slowest member but I simpy cannot find the rule allowing you to mix unit types.

Thanks in advance

You have a rule allowing ICs to join units

You have no rule disallowing mixing unit types; exactly the same as 5th. Therefore the unit type of the unit and IC is irrelevant. They may join.

In 6th movement is no longer restricted by the slowest, either - every model can move its max distance, as long as it maintains coherency.

So yes, you can stick a juggernaught khorne lord in with some bezerkers.

There is a good tactic there, get a juggernaught to the back of the squad this turn and at the front next turn and you have two rounds of LOS for any wound he could get. Pity you cannot do this with TW Lords.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.
