1. Where do I find out which psychic powers SM Librarians are eligible to roll random powers from?
I see Telekinesis in the 6th BRB fits with most of the psychic powers listed in the SM codex.
Am I limited to that category, or can I choose from any and all of the other psychic powers categories listed in the BRB?
2. Since a Epistolary librarian, who can use two powers per turn, but limited to using only one shooting psychic powers per turn,
gets stuck with two randomly rolled shooty psychic powers, isn't it kind of broken? It nullifies the Epistolary 's ability to employ two psychic powers
(Still only one shooty allowed, I know) per turn, and thus wasting the extra 50 points spent to level a Librarians up.
3. What happens if I buy Varro Tigurius? Does he have also to randomly roll to get lots of extra psychic powers in the BRB,
or can he just access all the ones listed in the SM codex? I'd prefer the latter, myself.

1. It's in your updated FAQ. I have the link in my sig, though you should have the FAQs bookmarked.
2. It happens; that's the risk you run. You can always choose which psychic shooting attack to use from turn to turn based on which is more useful in a given situation. Bear in mind that being a L2 psyker has other advantages, even if you're stuck with two PSAs. Like being able to DtW easier against L1 psykers, and being able to activate your Force Weapon in the same turn you used a PSA.
3. See the FAQ.

1. In the faq.
3. In the faq.
2. If you want brb shooty powers roll in the table of shooty powers in the book. Otherwise use the codex shooty powers.
The point is that you roll ever game for the random powers but you have written on your list what codex powers you wanted. This give you the fallback of always having the codex ones to use and the brb to roll on if they aren't useful.

Thanks, the FAQ helps. But another question. The FAQ states a librarian may and if use powers from the BRB. So can I interpret that to mean I can pick the ones I want from the SM Codex instead of rolling randomly at all from the BRB ?

You pick from SM codex and at the start of the game use them or use the BRB to generate random powers.

You still have to write down the powers you choose from your codex in your army list.
Before a game ,you have the chance to replace them with the random powers from the BRB .
