Started work on my finecast Mephiston, started with black under coast then khorne red followed by a wash of crimson then waza red then another wash and just built the colours up slowly. I have Sanguine army so all marines are two tone. I might choose to do this at a later stage but happy just using standard if not a bit darker reds for the time being.

I'll probably apply some source lighting to the sword but I've not quite got to grips with it. I don't use airbrush so if anyone else does this by hand some tips, maybe link to tutorial would be appreciated.. most of the tutorials I have seen are airbrush..

That looks excellent. I love the reds that you've gotten in the chest plate and the robes. The shoulders are also very good.

The lighting somewhat washes out the color of the hair, but it looks like you've got a good blonde going. It's hard to tell, though. Keep it up!
