I have a handful of Ork Nobz that I'd like to convert in to Power Klaw Nobz, but I don't want them all looking the same and I love the Orkiness of cobbling together whatever they find on the battlefield..

I thought about using some Space Wolves lightning claws, but I wasn't sure how the size lined up. Anyone have some ideas on what I could use as alternatives?

If you use them, use the terminator ones. I did up 4 nobz that way. I can post pics when I get home.

That'd be great! I have a guy in our group with several termi claws, but I was worried they'd be a tad small and look goofy. Pics would be much appreciated before I have him dig them out.

You can build some from all the knives that are in the random Ork kits. And swords from other armies as well. Hell, some plasticard and you ca carve out your own. Or possibly an Orkified version of a thunderhammer? A hammer with rokkits as heads, things like that that could be believable as a double STR AP2 weapon

Hmm... I dig the out-of-the-box ideas! I have a few rocket bits lying around. With a little greenstuff, I think I could get away with screaming "Falcon Punch!" every time he dealt a wound!

Or cutting the heads off Big Choppas, cutting the arm off at the elbow, add glue. Hey presto.

Just a random idea . How about modeling a few syringes into one of the nobz arm and sculpting that arm to be massive and bulging with muscle.

Definitely loot a few power fists from termies and marines - they seem a pretty obvious trophy for an ork to want.

And traditional PKs aren't that difficult to make from plasticard and a few rivets.

You could also cut the hand off and GS on a pair of Space Marine Chainswords that have been glued together either back-to back or side-to-side.

I just want to say that I love Orks and I love DakkaDakka users! These are all great ideas and will add so much variety to my models!
