Several times while reading my IG novels i've noticed that some troopers or tankers even will play card games when not fighting and killing.

I only managed to catch that the cards are very similar to current cards like the deck of 52 with the Spades, Clubs, Hearts and Diomonds.

The Cards apparently have Cogs (and a Ace which is the Tech Prist), and Commisars (and 2 other types im guessing.) and inlcudes the numbers, and aces but not sure about Kings, Queens, and Jacks.

My Guess is that to a real deck of 52

Cogs/Mechanicus = Diomonds (cause i don't belive it would work with hearts)
Commisars = Spades as from what i read the Commisar is hard to beat depending on the card game. Then again it could be clubs but im not sure.

Any guesses on what the Hearts or Clubs could be?
My guess Hearts is has got something to do with the preists and such.
Clubs..... I dunno.

"SIR! Are you sure this will work!?"
"I HAVE NO IDEA, PULL THE TRIGGER!!!" 91st comms chatter.

Yes perhaps hearts is the ecclesiarchy/Emperor, perhaps the joker is a ogryn, clubs very well may be a tank or some varient of the space marines, or even as far as aservitor
