This doesn't really show how to make a Rock base, more just how to paint one, I would like this a lot more, if it should the actual making of the base, what type of cork? What size is cork is best? etc. More of a step by step from the start, than a step by step from half way through when it is made, and ready to prime.

Other than that, it does look fantastic, and it is something I am looking into doing for my future hive fleet. Thanks

I find corkboard at my local hobby store for pretty cheap, not sure how much accross the pond. look for a craft section for custom pin/note boards.

other than that its simple just break off the piece you want then prime and paint like you want. I paint my base black, cold gray (VGC), then wolf gray for highlights.
