Hey hey! I've not done any painting for last 5+months so thought chucking this together out of spare bits was a good re-starting model to do

Feel free to C&C.

Very characterful piece. I'm not a big fan of the green water, as I think a more natural color would look better, but it looks good for what it is.

I must know how you did that water. I'm going to be building a modular game board once I'm done painting my GK (only 7 models to go!) and part of it will incorporate water just like that. Although realistically it won't be water

And yes, there will be a massive blog about it too!

Very nice! I would also like to know how you managed to model the water.

Thanks for the C & C , was going for the toxic kinda look rather than fresh water

@anticitizen013 and Vivalabuffalo .... Just a liberal amount of liquid green stuff , base in black and dark green then swirl in different greens while they all bit wet then GW water effects

I really like the execution of this piece, and the water is great, got that rotten swampy feel to it.

Only thing for me is... if the water is deep enough to sink almost the depth of a whole dreadnought, what is the apothecary standing on!?!

It really bugs me, 'cos now it's all i think about when I look at your awesome objective marker!!!
