Going down to GW tomorrow to start my first army i'd like to start with 500points and increase it by 250points each pay day so here are a few Ive made.

List one is one of my more preferred lists.

Defiantly go with list #1. in smaller games almost every other army will have so much trouble dealing with that many boys (they don't have enough shots). That is the thing with orks... MORE BOYZ!!!

All but a few units are just boyz that specialize, but you cant beat a standard boy. I personally like shoota boyz they don't tend to kill anything with their normal shots but the snap fire you get back is great( I mean come on 29 shoota boyz n a nob =59 shots, n you will hit lol)

just set you nob n warboss back a few rows so he doesn't get taken out right away

yeah list one will tear apart anyone at 500 points.

Only tip, I would do two mobs of 27 instead of one of 30 and one of 24.

Two equal rok mobs means your opponent will ahve a harder time choosing where to shoot.

I like #3 except for the deff dread and lobba...
1. The KFF mek keeps the boyz alive.
2. Orks are surprizingly good in a firefight especially when backed up by lootas.
To improve, perhaps give your boyz some big shootas. Maybe reduce your lootas to afford the 2nd nob with uge Choppa and the big shootas. Also at 500 perhaps give your big mek a uge Choppa.
