Here is my prediction

http://www.270towin.com/2012_election_predictions.php?mapid=brdX

last election my friend and I started a game where the loser wears a mask of the winning candidate and leather dominatrix outfit and walk around in public.

10 points for calling the correct winner

10 points for whoever is closer to guessing the correct number of electoral votes won rounded down (10 for democrat 10 for republican)

1 point for each correct state.

In the event that I lose, I took precautions and shaved in all the proper places.

Big variable is Florida, but I'll gamble Obama doing a little better than predicted there, just to be different.

I propose using Popular Vote margins as a tie breaker - I'll say Obama up by a 2.3% margin.

I'll also predict 53D/47R for the Senate, just for good measure.

.. yeah I think with the poll and the thread linked just above we've got enough coverage.

Worry not though stout hearted denizens of the OT board, there'll be something new and shiny to bitch at each other about any day now !

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
