OK so in the 6th BRB FAQ it states that models that ignore difficult terrain still fight at Initiative step 1 when charging through cover. After looking through the eldar codex there doesn't seem to be anything to say that Harlequins avoid this or have any kind of assault grenade. So naked they would still fight at Init step 1. Is this correct? Also, is the only way to avoid this is for the Death Jester's shrieker cannon to cause pinning or an Autarch (who have plasma grenades) to join the unit?

An autarch's grenades will only help the autarch.

So, yes, pin them or assault a unit already in combat.

A Shadowseer grants the unit, plasma grenades.
