Hi,

I have two queries about the Eldar Support Weapons and was hoping someone could help.

1. It mentions in the BRB that artillery can't fire if it moves at all, does this include pivoting?

2. D Cannon's have different rules for Glancing and Penetrating vehicles. Does it count as a hit if any of the template is touching the vehicle? I know it does normally but wasn't sure if the fact that they don't have a Strength Value changes that.

Thanks.

1) No, pivoting on the spot isnt moving
2) Yes, if it hits you follow their rules - theyve never worried aboutthe centre because of their lack of a strength value.

Thanks!

Just one more question that's come to me now. If three platforms in a line pivoted 90 degrees to the left so two were effectively looking at the back of the first, would they still count as having LoS at whatever the lead platform was looking at or would the lead platform be obscuring them? I know it's unlikely but you never know

Members of your own unit do not block LOS

As much as I wanted them to be, I thought ESPs did not count as artillery... possibly via FAQ.

(Note: haven't checked FAQ recently) but you are correct the support weapons in guardian squads aren't artillery. The heavy support weapons, like d-cannons are.

If you think you are too small to have an impact, try sleeping with a mosquito.

eldar have the rubbish assault platform found with units of guardians (which would be epic if they were artillery) which just count as a marker. And the Heavy support weapons (found in units of three) which are units of artillery.
