Hey, I got one of these a day ago:

http://www.waylandgames.co.uk/conflix/terrain-construction-systems/platformer-small-set/prod_15032.html

A Platformer Small Box kit. I also ordered the large box kit but my order got split and I haven't received it yet. Anyhow, looking back through the prices of these kits I'm a little baffled. The small kit says that it's got over 50 parts, the large kit's box says that it's got over 100 parts. I can't spot any different parts in the front pictore of the large kit so I assume it's just double the amount of sprues in there. Is that correct?

...and if so, how come Wayland Games are charging much more for one large box than for two small ones?

If someone who has both boxes could maybe exaplain that to me I'd be very grateful. At the moment I'm just confused. I mean if anything the smaller box should be a bit pricier than a big one, right?

Just in case someone else is wondering - I finally got the big set now and it has 13 sprues, so clearly more than just double the parts.

Imperial guard: Because quantity has a quality of it's own.

Sisters of Battle can be used in any game, with the exception of chess, Monopoly and of course, Warhammer 40,000.

After 8 editions, you might have thought that GW could get fantasy right.

The large set has MORE than two small sets in it.

Otherwise, it is the same stuff.

These are also done by Urban Mammoth AND Pegasus Hobbies, for those looking for them (as well as the original Russian sets).

The larger box packaging is also slightly smaller than two small sets.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
