I'm just starting templars and want to build a list with a power fist/storm shield castellan and a power fist storm chield chaplain as my hq's and a unit of shooty terminators, ideas for the rest of the army?

Is it a FW land raider?

I do like the idea of walking marines to take advantage of the zeal rule, and maybe a crusader just because i have the model

Stick your Chaplain and Emperor's Champion in a 20 man squad. 10 CC Initiates (with Melta or Flamer, plus a Power Axe). 10 CC Neophytes up front. Give the Chappy 3 CC Servitors to add 3 inches to your Righteous Zeal. Thats 25 pissed off dudes, aka THE BLACK TIDE. They will zip across the table and hit hard.

BT tactic experts are currently balancing the advantages between Accept All Challenges and Suffer Not for vows. Having never used Suffer Im not sure, but Ill try it the weekend.

You can fit your CC Crusader squad in the LRC, minus a few models if you like. Want to be disgusting? Get another LRC, and load that one with TH/SS and LC Terminators. Ditch the Castellan and get another Chappy, this one in TDA. Shove both those LRCs down somebodys throat, with Typhoon speeders backing you up. Pred Annihilators or Vindis depending on the point value.

All of these are recepies for underdog victory young Neophyte.

While a "full assault" BT army is a ton of fun to play, it is not very good in a competitive environment.

Most armies have ways to pop a couple of land raiders in 1 turn, and some armies do CC better than we do.
Dual heavy weapon tank-hunting termies is where the money is for BT these days...

That said, if those land raiders make it into assault range the look on your opponent's face when those termies come out is pretty priceless!
