Let's say we have this arrangement:

AA

XXXXXXX

ZZ

Where the "A" models are an enemy unit and "X" models are friendly unit with the "Z" models. Assume they are all on the same level and roughly the same height.

Can the "A" models shoot the "Z" models? If so, is it at a cover save of +4?

I believe the rules say that Z can shoot A because friendlies will duck or otherwise move out of the way. However, there is no clear path from A to Z.

Z can shoot A, and A can Shoot Z, assuming X aren't solid walls and there are gaps in their models.

in either case, the unit being shot at will receive a 5+ cover save.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

It's the same as 5th edition. If you can see it, you can shoot it. (range and other factors not withstanding)

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

It's true, they can shoot, but the models being shot would get a 5+ cover save for intervening models
