Hi There, I'm Tom from http://www.3dtotal.com I really hope I am posting this plea for help in the right place?

Currently we publish books and magazines on mainly fantasy and sci-fi digital art but after this little experiment http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1794375019/prime-wars we want to start publishing table-top games as well. Our current team of 10 are experts in graphic design, project management, book and magazine production and distribution but we really struggled in designing this 'prime wars' game and I'm a little bit worried what feedback we will get when it is released.

So for our future game projects we have recently run this ad http://www.reed.co.uk/jobs/board-and-card-game-designer/22234228 and so far had about 50 applicants but not even one of them has actually said they have an interest in playing games themselves, most of the applicants are graphic designers. So can any one offer any suggestions of how to advertise and recruit for such a position? and maybe point out anything else I am doing wrong? We are really keen to add games to our product range, both card games and miniature tabletop games but we just need to employ the right person to help us!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions, Tom

You could try an ad at boardgamegeek? Or maybe folks like River Horse could give you a referral: http://www.riverhorse.eu/services.htm
