Didn't even know Constantine was a thing other than the movie, knowing he has comics pleases me greatly. And now we might see him in Injustice Gods Among Us.

I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

The only real exposure I had to Constantine was his guest appearances in Sandman, but I enjoyed them. Johanna Constantine as well.

You guys HAD to know Constantine was a DC comic...how can you call yourselves nerds?!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

For the most part I despise DC, and even I knew his basics before the movie.

Probably work

Hellblazer was one of my favorite comics. This could be quite cool. I personally would love to see Constantine become more mainstream. Doubly so if he remains the rough-around-the-edges blonde British guy, and not some kind of Keanu Plank.

Hrmmm I dunno if that is such a good thing. Vertigo was set up to be the more adult print of their comics. Ending Hellblazer and making him go from Vertigo to the normal DC line could mean a watering down of the character. Making him more like a Dr Fate or Phantom Stranger type character. I'd hate to see him become a cartoonish comedic figure as opposed to what he is in Hellblazer...

I was saddened to see what DC did to Judge Dredd.

Erm... Constantine has been part of the Nu52 for over a year now. The real news is they are finally cutting the Vertigo title Hellblazer.
The real shame is he's changed from the confidence man he was before, someone who was magic and never really showed it to a guy who now casts spells blatantly.

John Constantine started out as a Side-Character in Swamp Thing, an obnoxious occult "fixer" that barely dabbled in magic originally .....
The movie did not do him, or the Hellblazed title, right, even though some parts in it might have fit.

I have not followed the title, really, but i'm not surprised hearing he's closer to a mage now .... but i agree on that it feels awkward that he'd be casting spells blatantly ...

Was once trying to make a 2D action-strategy scroller based on a mix of WH40K & MLP FiM .... but is no longer.
