The motorcycles. Most JSA players love them, maybe even a little too much for their own good. In fact, many JSA players made their JSA army for the sole purpose of the motorcycles.
That said, your list seems brutal. Two TAGs is really rough... for the opponent. Just be careful so that s/he doesn't begin taking extra anti-TAG weaponry to beat you.
Also, if both you and your opponent are new players, don't use TAGs. Inexperienced players have a hard time beating them and battles with TAGs tend to be a little one-sided if your opponent cant handle the TAGs.
Also, starting out is better done at 150 points. If you want my personal advice... make a 150 pts list, and don't include any TAGs in it. That should be great for learning the game and getting everything right before you start slaughtering things with your TAGs

Oh, and yes, motorcycles are good. They can be a little hard to handle since they are "Impetous" which means that at the beginning of each of your turns they must move towards the closest enemy. The upside is that they're fast. Really fast. So they can easily traverse the battlefield and find the best places to shoot from.

Check this thread out from the main Infinity Forums (sorry Dakka, its not posted over here...)

http://www.infinitythegame.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8756

It wont necessarily help with the list, but should give you an idea of all the units available to you, as well as expanding on the Aragatos some more (think theres a Tactica for them hanging around somewhere as well).

Otherwise, i would agree with the CF, 2 TAGs in a starter list is pretty evil....

Okay will create a 150 point list, will post when made.

Probably better to start with (150 points)

Oniwaban LT
Kempei (boarding shotty)
Domaru ( chain rife)
Aragoto (combi-rifle, light shotgun)
Keisotsu
Keisotsu
Keisotsu
Total 140

All this list would require is the starter box and a single aragoto..
This would then facilitate building into the 300 point list that apparently is competitive later on.

Ooo ooo - that's me!

I've resisted Yu-Jing for this long, but I think the JSA and the Aragotos will be my eventual undoing.

Meaning I'll have something for every faction - except the Tohaa.

Just a note with the Oniwaban Lt.
DON'T start him hidden or you WILL be in Loss Of Lieutenant status (and the kempetai chain-of-command will NOT kick in, because that has a specific DEAD or Unconscious clause - not 'off table').

A few people new to the game make that mistake.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Thanks for the advice, what about the list in general?

Every time I look at everyone else's TAGs it makes me want to kick things. It's like 85 points for one of those things, 10 points less than mine and it's pretty much the same. Sheesh.

Looking at the 300 Point list that is pretty sick. I would hate to play against it but it would be a ton of fun to run.

As for the 150 points, I wouldn't make the Ninja a Lieutenant. Hide your LT in with the little guys. Make the enemy work for it. That way you can use the Oniwaban to max murdertime. While you're waiting for your opponent to step into range of your Ninja, you can pump orders into the Bike and have it zip around and cause all sorts of havoc.

So have Keisotsu LT and Oniwaban as combat character?

Right. For two reasons. If you run your Keisotsu then they can be in a link team. You don't get a ton of perks for being in a three man group but it's better than nothing. This means you can move them as a group and they can support each other shooting, and really give someone hell in ARO. But even better, it makes your opponent guess which one of them is your LT. Meanwhile, you can have the Oniwaban doing what it should be doing, using the Monofilament CCW to murder the hell outta people.

Once you surprise people with him though, don't expect him to live long. He's a really high target priority once he's visible. And with good reason.

I think it works. Can you afford the give the Aragoto something mean to work with, like a Spitfire or something?

To get the spitfire in the list would have to be changed like this otherwise SWC is exceeded.

Aragoto (spit fire)
Domaru LT
Keisotsu (x3)
Kempei Oniwaban

I say that looks like a mighty fine list. A good amount of orders, a few rather killy guys and a few order-guys. Balanced and nice.

Makes for a nice change, right? I was able to try and test the game before buying into it, and even so I still bought the books because I wanted them anyway!
