I live in Waterloo. My army unfortunately does not, but I am interested in getting to know some local gamers so I can start kicking their butts when I get my army ready.

Just wanted everyone to know, Just By Chance has a dedicated Warhammer night every tuesday, with people regularly showing up to play 1k point games, usually multiple a night.

Enviroment is very friendly and I've played my first games there without a problem, if you feel you don't know the rules enough just show up and people will guide you.

Also they offer 20% off stupid GW prices, so don't overpay from the website...

Just wanted to see if anyone else was available, Diezel and I are meeting at phoenix at 11 tomorrow morning to play 750 40k games.

If anyone else wanted to show later that day I know I'd for sure be up to play a couple games.

Hello all! I'm looking to get back into 40K (after a 15 yr hiatus). Is there a current preferred gaming area locally or "noobs"? I went to Phoenix games many many many moons ago and found pretty pricey and haven't been back yet, and if I remember correctly parking was a hassle. I have yet to check out Just by Chance - but will do so soon as they are closer. I'd offer to host but I don't think my unheated garage and 2 hyper kids makes for a good play environment I can however offer a small unflocked board - 4' x 3.5' and/or a buttload of scenery in various stages that I started building this weekend.

Presently I have an old skool Eldar main army (4000pts?), and the Dark Vengeance armies (which I'm looking to grow to about 1250 each) + the rule books etc. Still waiting on my missing sprue from DV to come from GW, so I haven't even been able to run even the first learn the rules scenario.....

I recently moved to Cambridge (Hespeler) and have many different armies and point sizes. Does anyone here ever go to Forbes Hobbies? I was looking to start going there because its close but might consider Phoenix or Just By Chance if they have better accomodations.

Just incase anyone else was going, I'm planning to go to Just By Chance games tonight for the first time and check it out. I'll be bringing up to 1850pts of Space Marines and will be there around 6-630 in case someone was interested.

Dang spider I would've ran into you! I was there tonight checking it out and bought a Rhino while there. They had 2 games of 40K running and 1 of Fantasy.
