Play tested this at the weekend and enjoyed it. Probably needs points checking as it was guessimate.

Vindicator - daemonic possession
3 x Obliterators - mark of nurgle
5 x Havocs - 4 x autocannons
5 x Havocs - 4 x autocannons

I know it's a bit 5th ed with the min units, but I've got six Rhino chassis and I want to use them. I would take a few units of 10 if points permitted (melta units), but they do not and I've found eight hulls seem to do nicely. The heavy support works nicely too, as this will be a Iron Warrior army .

Basically Vindicators hold the front and take the flak while others get shielded behind; melta ones will also go at the front too btw. Vindies and Havocs will lay down support for the first turn while Rhinos move up and fire havocs at infantry or just roll up and long range fire. Oblits and Chaos Lord deep strike together while Sorcerer and Cultists mooch in and grab a easy objective.

The Chaos Lord I am thinking of either adding a mark of nurgle, as when split got instagibbed plus if he comes in turn 2, then earliest he's going to assault is turn 3. I am also thinking about a Nurgle Biker Lord with a power fist. Just need to come up with something cool so it fits a I.W theme.

Gonna be honest, I thought I was looking at a DA list with all that plasma! Still, kudos for not going with the traditional 5th edition standard of 'Only Plague Marines shall risk Gets Hot'. I'm curious as to what you plan on doing with the Sorc. I would roll on the Biomancy table myself, hoping to land a 3 and get Endurance. Feel No Pain and Relentless are amazing on Plasma toting units. Also, depending on your opinion of Mutilators, you might consider switching out the Oblits since you want to get that squad into assault. If Oblits could Overwatch, I'd be more tempted to stick with them, but alas that isn't permitted by Slow and Purposeful. Overall, the list look fun and destructive. As for the hypothetical Nurgle Biker Lord, you could always fluff him out as a Lord with so much cybernetics replacing his body that he can barely feel any physical sensation.

I'll be honest; I like Plague Marines. In fact you need a good reason not to like them. But, this is Iron Warriors, and as much as I can shoehorn in some Plagues, I cannot be bothered - plus they cost about 30 points more than my normal units and that will all add up.

Sorcerer stays in reserve with the Cultists and walks in with them and sits with them on a objective. He's there as a cheap HQ so I can do dual FOC. I was thinking of trying to get the invisibility power, but of course it is random. Still got to put more thought into the Sorcerer atm, could get more use out of him. Though endurance is a nice power.

I do like Muties. Actually I think I am the only one who likes the models . I do like Oblits better, they will be staying, and the Oblts are just a delivery system for the Termie Lord. But truth be told, I am strongly thinking of ditching the Termie Lord and taking a Nurgle Lord on a bike with a fist, blights and a 4+ inv.

Fluff wise I can easily come up with something on the Lord. It's model wise which has me stumped.

Agreed on the topic of Plague marines. I run a Slaanesh themed army with Icon of Excess on a lot of stuff, but Plague Marines are still harder to kill by far. Also, I saw this on here a bit ago and I thought you might get some inspiration for your biker lord. http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/346676-Iron%20Warrior%20Chaos%20Lord%20Motorbike.html

Maybe give him a cloak of tubing and wires like the Warpsmith model? Just a thought.
