Hello everyone, after i sold my imperial guard as i was sick of transporting army in two big gw cases i decided to build terminator army i always wanted. I was waiting for new chsm codex as i like iron warriors, hoping it ll allow me to make decent terminator themed army. Unfortunately that was not the case so im still stuck deciding whitch dex im going to use but right now i almost decided i ll use space wolves book to build my chaos army as count as logan wing. Im not competetive player at all, but i spent few weeks thinking about how to build terminator army using chsm codex and still be able to win few games but i gave up as army lists i would like modelwise are almost unplayable on tabletop.
I know Logan wolf-wing is not one of most powerfull army lists but at least i hope i ll be able to win a game time to time and have a fun playing instead of being frustrated by never ending loss streak if i would chose to use chsm codex.
I went for "tabletp" quality again as i want to have this project finished till end of january and i hope i achived nice compromise between quality and time spent painting. Hope you ll like the photos and video showcases and let me know your opinions, advices or questions if you ll have some.
Ok as im not a good at writing i think i ll show you pictures of whats done right now and ll add some more hopefuly by next week;-)
No remorse mini diorama:
vid showcase:
First terminator squad:
Land raider:
Another terminator lord:
MK3 armored marines as i just dont like current chsm kit:
And first two parts of my IW army building vlog, showcases included:
Amazing looking army so far. Those Mk III marines work very well for Iron Warriors with no real conversion necessary. I may have to pick some up for my IW army.
Overall, they look brilliant. My only problem is the OSL. It's very bright and cartoony looking when contrasting with the dark and gritty armor. In my opinion, at least.

I think it's a very nice contrasting and effective touch.
I love it. Iron Warriors are too cool.

Amazing work! Just wondering, where is that 2nd chaos lord's sword from? I want to say WHFB Knights, but it doesn't look like the ones I've seen

Well, this colour scheme is actualy very easy to paint. If i exclude assembly and basing they took about 2hours/terminator or 5 pieces of MK3 armoured marines.
"no remorse" mini diorama was done overnight except snow whitch i added other day. Started painting at 18 00 and been done at about 4 in the morning.
These are basicaly airbrushed by VMA steel, then washed with black shade wash. Gold parts are painted by vma gold, then washed with devlan mud and thats all. To be honest i spent most time painting the black/yellow stripes as i hand paint them;-)
