2 combiplasma WG pack leaders go with the first 2 squad of GH footslogging to the enemy shooting plasma and bolter fire. The combi-melta WG packleader joins DropPod GH melta squad. The 5 man melta squad guards base. The droppod WG and the droppod melta GH squad come in first turn busting tanks inside enemy's base. The no pack leader squad shoots plasma and footsloggs to a different objective. The dreadnought comes in the following turns where needed the most. Lonewolf protects my rear ftom big enemies and MCs moving midfield. Longfangs shoot missiles from distance with divination from runepriest.

From a competitive standpoint here is what I would change:

- Drop the Dreadnought, you would rather have another GH squad.

- Your Lone Wolf has TDA (I am assuming due to the points you have listed). Take 2 wolves with him, there are a few articles on maximizing assault range. Due to the new assault rules you can give a broader charge range due to having the two beasts with him. These also give him two wounds to soak up while waiting on his unwieldy weapon to strike. I would also swap to a chainfist a thunder hammer simply can't do the damage to Land Raiders that a chainfist can. Also remember you want him to die, so if he only puts a wound or two on that trygon before getting splattered no big deal as your long fangs can easily mop that extra wound up. So in summary take 2 wolves and swap to a chainfist.

- You don't have to footslog, in fact drop podding is probably a better choice for you in a competitive environment. Most players will be packing some form of AP2/3 and that will eat your GHs up. Even if you do find yourself in a game with not many low AP weapons you are still going to struggle with maneuverability as your guys will be moving 6 inches and then shooting most turns.

- Putting a Rune Priest in with Long Fangs is a complete waste of points. Especially with foot slogging you are going to want those powers walking up field popping transports, and softening up tough models. You will also want the 4+ null zone bubble that he brings. If you really want Divination then give it to a GH squad, it lasts a full game turn so that means rerolling hits in your shooting, and both assault phases (including overwatch if your opponent charges). This will net you way more wounds than rerolling 4 missile launchers.

Here are my takes on "competitive" SW lists
Drop Pod list

Rune Priest - Jaws, LL (could sub Divination for rerolling plas or melta shots)

Lone Wolf - CF, SS, 2x Fen Wolves
3x WG - 3x TDA, 3x SS, 2x CM, 1x CP

10x GH - 2x Plas, MotW, Standard, Pod
10x GH - 2x Plas, MotW, Standard, Pod
7x GH - 1x Plas, MotW, Standard, Pod
7x GH - 1x Melta, MotW, Standard, Pod
7x GH - 1x Melta, MotW, Standard, Pod

6x LF - 5xML
6x LF - 5xML
6x LF - 5xML

This will almost always give you first blood, and possibly slay the warlord if your opponent has a weak warlord (think Coy CDRs). It is also very possible to grab linebreaker if you can keep your guys alive long enough. Rune Priest goes in one of the pods (probably the plas pod with an open slot in it).

While it may not be GT material I think that it stands a better chance than most wolf foot slogging lists, while operating off of the same tactics.
