Hey all... A friend of mine paid me to paint his Emperor's Champion model with an alternate color scheme (white armor) so here is the model. Mind you my friend asked me to leave the base undone, as he will do it himself so it will match the rest of his army. The model was painted twice allready and my friend said it would be ok if i didn't strip the paints off of it before repainting it. I still had to fix some moldlines and apparently the hip holster is missing from the model, but still it came out looking decent tabletop standard that was more than enough for my friend. Oh and sorry for the crappy photos. I didn't have my tripod for the camera, so the images are a bit blurry

Wondering Why the Emperor Left

The Warp

I like the inverted color scheme. I would have liked to see the shoulder pad black with a white cross for a complete inversion, but that's just my opinion. Regardless, I think it's looking good.

"The uniforms of the Imperial guard are camouflaged in order to protect their wearers by hiding them from sight. the principle is that what the enemy cannot see, he cannot kill. This is not the way of the Adeptus Astartes. A Space Marine's armour is bright with heraldry that proclaims his devotion to his Chapter and the beloved Emperor of Mankind. Our principle is that what the enemy can see, he will soon learn to fear." -The codex Astartes

Unfortunately models displayed in the Showcase are obliged to be finished down to the base, so I must move this thread to P&M forum.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Rules are there for a reason not to mention part of signing up with Dakka is agreeing to ALL the rules they have put forth. So I think it is good that the mods are enforcing them.

Really badass. I feel like it probably would have looked a bit smoother if you had stripped down the paint under it though.

The white really brings out the details that you can miss with a standard colored Champion and the eyes make him look really badass.
