Hiya it's me Imoen!

I'm working on my second Heldrake, my last one can be seen here:

This one is being done in a slightly abstract style, below is the prototype to demonstrate style:


You can see some of the panels clearer in this one which was done before the gold.



anyway this is the wing of the 2nd drake, and i'm going to be doing the rest in this same style, if anyone has any cool idea's of things I could do, I was thinking of doing planets/sun on other wings etc please post below!

The blending on the purple is just about done on these now, maybe a few more washes though. Just awaiting abstract art, stars etc.

Mini update

Chassis looking a bit groovier, needs a few more coats of gold lines but you can see where its' going.



a new wing, not quite as happy with it as the moon but i think the colours just don't work quite so well



it sounds silly but I liked the stars more!!

It looks pretty cool. I'm curious to see how it all comes together. I really like that gold knotwork on the the hull- it's somewhere between chaos glyphs, and flames.

sorry it's taken a while and while it's not finished I've got some update pics



This wing is near enough finished, got the joint bits to do but near enough there! This will be accompanying:



repeat pic I know but it lets you see them paired together, so they'll be the front wings.

I'm optimisically hopeful I can finish the whole thing in two weeks.... whether that will happen remains to be seen - new update coming soooooooon
