Evening all I'm looking for some fresh eyes to critique my painting efforts, btw I just noticed the bent staff and slight lean.

No checks, stripes or polka dots? Harlequins kinda beg for them.

Otherwise not bad for TT sutff. Shame about the lean and the bent staff. Hope it's fixable easily.

I aggree with the former poster here. It all looks great but some freehand would be awesome on this one. If you are unsure of your skills on that, practice some first on some paper.
The freehand will make this model stunning to say the least.

id have to disagree with the checker supporters. It looks fine the way it is honestly. Not my fav in color scheme imo, but that's just nit picking and personal choice. The red spots could use a touch up with a wash maybe.....

Looks great as is. One of the things that I've always disliked about Harlequins is how busy they look, too much going on with their paint schemes. Your Shadowseer has some fairly bright colours, very Harlequin-esque, but they are in solid blocks (as it were) on the model which makes it easier on the eyes and a bit more naturalistic. No checkers to ruin your lovely, smooth work!

Thanks for the replies like the last poster I'm not a fan of checkers but I have seen some very nice freehand patterning that wouldn't take over the mini, time to skill up methinks

I've actually never liked checkers on Harlequins. They made the model way too busy. I really like what you've done with the contrasting colours without making it too noisy.

Great job!
