Fallout: New Vegas has a bunch of easter eggs. "Take drugs, kill a bear!", Owen and Beru in Nipton, Two-Bears-High-Fiving, the Holy Frag Grenades, and Fist of the North Rawr are my favorites.

Once while playing Skyrim, a Daedric helm got stuck in the game, from the loading screen. It was funny, because rather then move my character, it was still controlling the movement of the Helm. So there it was, floating around going threw trees and buildings and such. Pretty funny.

on the forum. Obviously

In Bloodrayne there was an Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark easter egg. If you break one of the crates in the secret Nazi base, you find the Ark.

The old Fallout games had a few easter eggs as well. My personal favorites were the bridge guardian in Fallout 2, and the killer rat fighting some power armored soldiers (reference to the rabbit of Caerbannog)

Blood and Duke Nukem 3d was full of easter eggs. I would list them, but it would take a while.

Do references count as easter eggs?

In Oblivion guard somehow disarmed my character so I punched him in the face and he died, his sword landed tip first in the ground and span like crazy on the spot before being launched by an arrow hitting it.

That same character went on to duplicate books as a way of fighting...

References are.not easter eggs. They are just little jokes put in to see who gets them. Easter eggs are hidden in a game, hence the "hunt" required for them.

Mass Effect 1: while fighting a certain boss character the game froze up - with the exception of Shepard, whose neck started to extend his head gradually forward like Pinnochio's nose got infected by The Thing! I may still have some pics of that one somewhere.

The Getaway: I gave up on this game after an annoying bug on the mission where you have to sneak into Sun Hill police station. At the crucial point of the level I couldn't trigger my objective, why - because as it turned out an AI controlled duplicate of the player character had spawned somewhere in the map and started fighting running gun battles with the cops all across the station, as if the game had suddenly decided to start playing itself; utterly bizarre.

In my first post I put "doctor who" in the borderlands 2 easter eggs part....it is really a reference to doctor who in the game.
(so you can post refrences!)

OK. I have quite a big problem with "Batman: Arkham City". The game just stops at the end of the fight against Ras' Al Goul, at the point where Batman is supposed to use the "Reverse Batarang". Now I know there is a patch which is supposed to fix this, and it is that that is causing my problem.

I didn't get the game through Steam, so I can't update it there. I have tried logging on to my GFWL account and it takes me to an X-Box area, so I can't seem to cet the patch that way either.

Does anyone know of a decent 3rd party site I can get this game patched from? I am sick of not being able to get any further and have played completely through "X: Beyond the Frontier", and almost all the way through "Knights of the Old Republic" and am now starting on "Mass Effect 3" since getting stuck.

Any help will be most appreciated.

"Ask ten different scientists about the environment, population control, genetics, and you'll get ten different answers, but there's one thing every scientist on the planet agrees on. Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Crysis 2: the aliens sometimes find it fun to run around in circles. They attack if they see you, but the fact that they're moving that way makes it really hard to kill them quickly.
Oh, and if you play online, you can see other players' shadows when they're cloaked and invisible...

Edit: crysis 2, not 3...

LoneLictor on thread about an ork choking the Emperor:

I like to imagine the Emperor kills so many Orks that he ends up half buried beneath a pile of corpses, with only his head sticking out. A lone grot stumbles across him, and starts choking him.

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space.
