Hey guys, im looking to build a fluffy Death Guard list, utilizing plague marines all over the place and whatnot, and I was wondering what sort of long range/tank hunting/flyer hunting kit they could use that would make sense.

Would anyone be able to help?

I was just about to post something like this. I personally was thinking either 3 squads of havocs (2 suads autocannons one squad flak), 2 squads of havocs (one autocannon one flak or 2 and 2 of both in each squad) and one oblit squad, or 2 oblit squads and 1 havok (flak missiles). I would also have an aeigis defence line with quad cannon

Fluff is what you make it.
You can't go wrong with pred, vindi, and land raiders.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

This would be my pick, too. But with autocannons instead of flak missiles since they are much cheaper and very versatile.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Asumming that I use 2 units of Havoks, and that I will have 3 rhinos in the army; how survivable will a lone predator be? Kitted out with lascannons, because Iack the means to reliably eat land raiders, or should I just run a land raider over it?

Late to the party as usual....

From a pure mechanic stand point I sugest Havocs. They have got a real shot in the arm since the new codex.

if you want to stay true to the fluff, I just looked at the original Nurgle Renegade list in "Lost and the Damned" and they only have options for lascannons and missle launchers.

A lone Predator and three Rhinos can be enough in an environment where anti-tank weapons are rather rare, and this will be the situation in the 6th ed.
However, I'd replace the Predator with a Vindicator which is much more scary due to the new template rules.

Buffing a unit of havoks is a great way of fielding 4 lascannons. folks who want to use the 20-25 point weapons need to be fielding some buffer lives or toughness or fearless or something so they aren't just a big target. 13 points for an extra wound is pretty alright, especially given they are usually out of range of the chaff guns and it's pretty nice if they can hide behind a defense line.

Obliterators are swell but it does seem like a DG army would want some reach answers, and despite having a weapon for every job, obliterators won't always be in range unless you can infiltrate them.

So, 2 units of 5 Havoks with autocannons, and one with lascannons?

Hard to go wrong with two units of nurgle oblits.

Found that lascannons and plasma cannons do good works.

2 Units of Havocs with Autocannons + a Quad gun will be a good setup. 20 shots Str7, 4 having Skyfire and Twinlinked.

All you then need is some melta/las added in there somewhere for high AV, something AP2 maybe..
I use Meltas on my plague marine units and threw in a Vindi as i could just about afford one, still testing that but handy for Termies and doubling out certain units.
