I know it's not much and I haven't finished painting and basing, but what do you think so far?

I think those images need to be resized!

looks pretty nice. Not sure if you have washed the boltgun areas but if not then you should, make it look a lot less flat. Also IMHO a dry bush of chainmail after the wash will make it look good too. Basing it, even just with play sand (what I do) will make it look finished. Throw in some static grass and your good. Oh and looking over it I think that painting their eyes red would really pull the models together and the little bit of extra color would make them stand out. If you can get better picture (it may be that you don't have a good camera but it may also be that you are doing something wrong the) then I would. I realised that you may have done what I suggested for the metal already but it is hard to tell.

Hmm. The metal actually works quite well, maybe a green or blue wash would make it look more organic. As for bases, how about barren grey moonscape?
