I was reading the faq for GK and noticed it says dreadknight with greatsword resolves attack with strength 10. Can this be correct??? Sounds wierd. Wouldnt be any point choose the hammer in that case

Paying for Hammer means paying for losing an attack. Both dual-fists and fist+sword gives +1 attack for 2 CCW. Hammer doesn't. Every option is S10 with AP2. Though technically you could make the attacks with sword instead of doomfists if you wished to use S6 instead of S10 for some reason.

Anyway, Admiral Ackbar already stated his opinion about thunder hammer: It's a trap.

Yeah, the Hammer sucks.

And because the Sword's bonuses apply to ALL melee attacks, not just those made with the sword, you will attack with a Doomfist. And both give each other +1A so its all good.


Plus the sword is just sooo badass
