Does stealth and shrouded stack with the cover save provided from the Aegis Defense Line?

Because it is a cover save, which stealth and shourded add one to,

I was under the assumption that stealth + shrouded did not stack with battlements.

You were under the wrong impression. They both explicitly stack with any cover save.

If you receive a cover save from any source, then Stealth and Shrouded will add to that.

pg 104, ADL grants a 4+ cover save
pg 43, stealth improves save by 1
pg 41, shroud improves save by 2

model gets a 1+ cover save total, but is limited by the maximum of a 2+ save.
