Maybe 24 total FW and the rest suits, broadsides and maybe a couple Forgeworld Tetras.
I'd suggest eBay since a lot of people are apparently getting rid of old tau stuff hoping for a new release.
Maybe 1 hammerhead/skyray kit and build a hammerhead. The battle force has too many worthless items (Kroot, Devilfish, and Stealthsuits)

Devilfish aren't worthless. Expensive definitely, but not worthless at all.
Kroot on the other hand have a handy new use; you can play them with ork boy stats for counts as ally goodness and fill that nasty assault gap in your army.

buy a battle box which is the perfect 750 point box set then you maybe buy a hero and a crisis suit then you could go on forgeworld and get a nice crootox and some battle suits maybe a couple tanks
