I purchased the blister of FJ Tank Hunters a while back with the plan of making one of my FJ platoons into a Panzerfaust platoon.

But looking over the rules for von der Heydte he seems pretty fun as well. I don't know how effective ambushing PF teams would be, but it seems like it pottentially could be a nice counter for enemy ambushes. "Oh, your tank destroyers showed up over here? So sad that my Panzerfausts are aiming at them..."

Have people played with them and are they effective?

Would a FJ Platoon with all PF teams be better? The PF ambush team would be limited to that specific list, but I could take the FJ PF/Rifle/MG platoons in more lists as well.

Thanks for the feedback again.

Well if its Bulge you are playing, Heydte wont be able to hold a panzerfaust.

He had two broken arms.

Real men strap panzerfausts to their forehead for the inevitable "atomic headbutt".
