Went ahead and made this so that I don't have to draw a centerline down the board every time I get diagonal deployment.

Added ranges for guns too, to help get a feel for board control during deployment.

That's kind of a neat diagram.

The math I usually use is just for deployment- your long axis ends 21.5" from the opposite short edge, and your short axis ends 14.5" from the opposite long edge.

I hate the diagonal deployment zones.

My friends and I just throw a scatter to determine which corners are used, then do a corner to corner line. No hassle.

What we do is draw an imaginary line from corner to corner in each direction, then throw a 50-50% die to see which line we'll use, mock up the center line with dice, and then measure out 12" perpendicular from that to either side to get deployment zones. Without accurate measurements like the ones given in the diagram in the OP, that's the only way to get reasonably accurate deployment zones.

OP:
Thanks for that. Just measuring out on the long and short sides is a lot less hassle, than any other way of doing it.

No worries all, but it was pointed out to me that I mucked up the scale a bit when I was DRAWING the 12' lines from the center. The measurements are accurate, but the lines should be an additional 6' back
