Looking for a 40k game in the Cuyahoga area or atleast something that isnt to much of a drive away. Figured I would try to find some new players in the area as i just found out about the Find a Game forum.

Whereabouts in the Cuyahoga area? And what games are you looking at playing?

I currently live over in the strongsville/parma area and currently play 40k at the store called gamershaven but am looking around for a little more of a variety of places to go.

There's a lot of local players around. I typically play with a local group at someone's house. Sometimes we make it down to jac games in akron for their last Saturday of the month tournament. Good prize support and a large following.

There is suppose to be a new recess opening back up in north olmsted with tables. They use to be located in the mall but got pushed out for the. New theater they are building there.

Warzone matrix has lots of tables but its hit and miss there.

The only other west side place is gamers haven. Other than that there are a few places near the lake on the east side near mentor. Far south in north canton there is also a large gamer group.

There's a new Recess opening up?

They were always a decent place to go when I needed some quick 40k stuff, since it was about 15 minutes less of a drive than getting to Gamer's Haven, and the neighborhood that the Warzone is in is a little shady and I don't like being there after dark...

Gamershaven is nice and i like it but it seems like each week we are only playing against IG, dark eldar, chaos marines/daemons(i play guard myself) its typically about the same each week, as why im looking around as well. Recess was nice to get stuff at but if they get tables to play on then that will be nice. Warzone from what the owner has mentioned seem to die out of 40k. You have to go on there site and register and ask for a game and plan day.

How is jac games? I havent ventured that far south yet and havent heard anything about the place.

Automasters in Canton isn't bad, it's a car garage and a gaming store. They have like 12 tables, and they play 40k regularly. They play 40k on Wednesdays and Fridays from 6 to 10, and Saturdays and Sundays from like 10am to w/e. It's about an hour drive from you (I make the trip to Canton every day for work).

And I'd play at Gamer's Haven if I could, but I'd only be able to bring my space marines to the table to give you a different taste.

I wouldn't really know, I went there for one game, and was face rolled by necrons... I had a bad experience (trying to learn a new codex and 6th edition at the same time, while this guy kept telling me, yes this rule doesn't make sense I think it's stupid). And then would use it on me anyways....

They're decent guys though, and the tables they have are awesome, and they have a lot of them.

Ahh okay I see. I will have to drive out there and try that sometime and maybe try jac games as well.
