Hey,

Si I'm looking for some help on where to buy some good quality brushes in the UK. I currently have some GW ones but ever since the first use they're been splitting quite badly.

I've been told http://www.rosemaryandco.com/ are good but was wondering if there is any other places and if so what brushes would you recommend.

thanks.

Rosemary & co are very good, and cheap for what they are.
W&N S7's are superb but very expensive.

I'd get the Rosemary's. Learn to keep them well; invest in some masters's brush cleaner and preservative (art shops). It's expensive, but lasts a long, long time. Worthwhile if you don't want to replace your nice brushes every couple of weeks.

On the very cheap side, Hobbycraft usually carry some cheap synthetics that do as semi-disposables.

Second the Rosemary & Co for the brushes. Whilst there, get a bamboo brush roll too and make sure you store them upright.

W&N isn't that expensive if you look at the cost over time. I get mine for £6 each (with postage) on ebay UK, just find a seller that specialises in art supplies.
