Been lurking a while but have just replied to the the measuring poll thread so I figure I may as well put in an intro post

I've always been a fan of the 40K scene, starting from seeing their super-cool ads in Dragon magazine back in the day ('the day' being the early 90's). The way-out-there models and especially the stories were crazy and so far from the D&D I was doing at the time.

Nowadays I still do D&D regularly (never got into WoW or Camelot or anything MMO) and earlier this year I got into 40K finally and have been consistently burning money and wasting time ever since!

I play with a bunch of guys from my workplace and one of my D&D friends, I started a website to post battle reports and WIP pictures to keep everyone interested and motivated: http://hammertime40k.wordpress.com

I've made tons of terrain because it's quite fun to play on, and so far I've been playing mostly Dark Eldar (which took ages for me to get my head round!) and am starting to play Chaos. At some point a couple of us will start playing Warmachines, because it sounds quite interesting, and a couple more of us will try out Infinity, because I really want to try the tactical rules. We will probably try Dark Potential from MiniWarGaming as well, because from the rules it seems like a (maybe more simplified) version of Infinity. To that end, I'm looking to cruising even more sections of the forum!
