I have been looking on the forums for a while and know the topic of airbrushes has been beaten like a dead horse, but I think I have a question that I havnt been able to find on the forum.

With tomorrow being black friday, I am going to either buy a badger 105 patriot at michaels for 75 or an iwata eclipse at hobby lobby for 120.
What I want to know is, do you guys think its worth the extra money for the iwata or is the badger model so similar to the iwata that it isnt worth the extra dollars and both will perform equally for painting 40k stuff.

Are you using the hobby lobby coupon? They maintain a constant 40% off online coupon that is good on all items in the store including airbrushes and compressors...if your price doesn't include the savings from the coupon then I think you have your answer

the eclipse is better then the 105 patriot and worth that extra money so if your serious get the eclipse

Yeah I was counting the coupon. I went with the Eclipse from hobby lobby and got the badger 80-3n portable compressor from michaels.

Sounds like a great setup! Idk if your familiar with airbrushing but if your not i would start with with some basic shapes to get a feel for how it works
