I know what you guys are thinking, "another one? really?" but i came up with this to be a reasnoble unit that can be put into a game (apocalypse) without breaking it. Only respond if you are going to say something CONSTRUCTIVE. Haters are not welcome!!! anyways, here are the rules:

Yeah... throw Smash into his special rules, or he's just a wimp in CC.

Also, give him +1 to his Deny the Witch. Since he's higher than every other psyker ML wise, that'd be a 3+, which is good. Make him immune to Sweeping advances, for when he chooses to fail. Let him use all witchfire attacks, even if it'd be shooting multiple things. Also, I'd say he must be warlord, and he may automatically choose his Warlord trait, from any table in the BRB. Maybe give him Strength 6, at least... I'd even say to throw in FnP and It Will Not Die.

He's the Bloody Big E! He should be tough as hell! And change it to making any Leadership checks he wants, to cover the Doom of Malantai and stuff.

I must compliment you on not making him 10 on every stat though.

I personally think a rule for the Emperor should be that all Friendly Models within 24" have the Relentless rule or something like that, becuase he's meant to be inspiring to all men of the Imperium kind of thing.

Some comments/constructive criticism:

Overall, he is a good start. But there is always room for improvement.

- make his Fire Blade and Eagle Claw weapons AP2
- boost him up to at least S6 and T6, and leave his Attacks at just A5
- give him It Will Not Die
- Deny the Witch 3+
- maybe Hatred (Chaos) ??

Sorry about that! meant to say he ignores armour saves! lol. the weapon he has is bassically the one the swarmlord has. and he is not a wimp in CC cause he can use psychic powers to augment his abilities. he is also a level 4 psyker which means he will get bonuses to deny the witch for being a higher master level that any other psyker in the game, and 4+ is enough, i just think 3+ is a little excessive on that powerful a model.

I also want to apologise for all the people i P***** off with my Hydraphant rules, they were stupid i know that now, unfortunatly i was younger and i have matured and gained a better understanding of the ruels since then...i hope...

but yeah all the FNP, it will not die and stuff is why i gave him the ability to use all powers from every discipline. it means he can use biomancy to augment himself without becoming to OP. it allows him to be playable as he has to foregoe shooting powers to make himself better. i just gave him eternal warrior so people wouldn't waste a power every turn giving him it.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
He has to be killable mind, not to mention with doom he will just have to suffer the results like everyone else. it's not balanced if i make him immune to everything. that would defeat the purpose of not making him 10 for all stats.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I do however agree with the whole no sweeping advance, that's supposed to be in there with calgars rules as it's part of "and they shall know no fear". i will make the change to my rules.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
And with the always warlord thing there was a battle mentioned in one of the heresy novels where the Emperor gave command of the attack to Horus and the Emperor went for the smaller targets while Horus went for the ruler of the planet.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
it's like taking calgar and a chaplian and giving the warlord role to the chaplain. it is possible and anyways, most people will give him warlord just cause it's cool. as for choosing the trait i would say no. I do want to keep it playable and i don't want to just add in every special rule possible.

The ability to use all the Psychic powers is cool, has a lot of possibilities. but he just doesn't seem that impressive on an army wide tactical scale. I've got this Forge World book here and it gives Horus' army the ability to Outflank and Fulgrim gives everyone a +2 to all combat resolution scores. that's some impressive stuff.

also, the Primarchs have Fleet, while you could just use the Warp Speed power I think it would be good to have it by default. plus Bulky, the Emperor is a big man right?

and I thought is would be amusing to say that all the Emperors attack have the Blind special rule and he doesn't benefit from Night Fighting, being the bright and shiny man that he is. Let There Be Light!

So what is the general thought then on a tactical bonus to the army, i do agree with that but what could represent the emperors tactical genius? something along the lines of re-rollong reserve rolls would be good but not enough IMHO.

Its a nice start, although he may be missing a few things.

He should be considered bulky, and be able to be teleported into the game as if he was wearing terminator armor(but without the negatives).

The Emporer should have stubborn.

Since Ahriman is a level 4 psycher, I'd put the Emporer at level 5.

Also I'd put him at 600 or 650 pts.
