Do drop pods from an allied army count towards your drop pod assault or are they separate?

Example: I have three pods in my main detachment, and one in my allies. Do three come down turn one or only two?

I think they are counted separately but I am not sure.

They all have the same rule, so no reason to count them seperately

I would think a separate detachment would follow its own rule, so you would get three, not two. Two from your main force and one from your allies.

If you take allied daemons they are doing a separate daemonic assault. Same with allied deathwing or blood angels assaults.

There are no rules that say to count it detachment by detachment. Therefore you would count the total amount of drop pods in your army (including allies) when calculating Drop Pod Assault.

It truthfully depends which side of the "your army" argument you're on.

Personally I think it's both Prim + allied for Drop Pod assault.
