Frenzied Berserker Terminator

Hq:
Chaos lord w/ MoS, term armor, icon of excess, black mace
kharn the betrayer - making the berzerkers troops
Troops:
20 csm w/ mark of nurgle
10 csm with mark of nurgle
20 khorne berzerkers
40 chaos cultists with mark of slaanesh. Pairing them with chaos lord with icon of excess so they have feel no pain and can tarpit objectives
Elites:
2 hellbrutes with las cannon amd power fist. Good for taking out tankss,hqs,and termies
Heavy support:
2x predator with heavy Bolter sponsons and a twin linked las cannon
Transport:
1x rhino
This is supposed to be a fun list that can hold its own. Let me know what you guys think!

That's quite a few bodies in power armor so I am rather partial to it already. The biggest problem though is that those berserkers are going to have one hell of a time getting across the board into the safety of melee combat. I would be wary about putting them all into one big blob as well. To be honest, I would rather have 2 groups of them in rhinos with kharn being a chaos lord with the mark of korne in one of the rhinos with the berserkers.
The CSM do a good job of holding the middle so thats nice, but if you really really wanted some punch in there, you can add in some bloodcrushers of korne or some bloodletters if you wanted to go all in on melee. The bloodcrushers especially are no joke.

Ronan, i didn't add the point values but I'm aiming at around 2k points.
I was thinking about shoving the zerkers into rhinos, but seeing as how they NEED to get the first charge and they can't charge the turn they disembark from the rhino. I like the Idea of splitting them into two groups of 10 though! I figure if they're focusing the zetkers then my marines and cultists are doing work from the middle and holding objectives. Also my heavy support is taking out any heavy support risks. Do uou guys like the slaanesh on cultists with the icon of excess?

Thanks for the clarification on the icon of excess being a unit upgrade and not war gear.
What do you mean it looks like a collection of models ?
Any other insight? I'm adding a defiler to this list I think. I would like to have the heavy pie plate!

You can't get a squad of 40 cultists, its a max of 35 per squad (unless you mean 2 squads of 20)
Who is the rhino for?
By and by though its not a bad start for an army.

Advise taking some heldrakes or SOMETHING to deal with aircraft. also, this list distinctly lacks AP-2 threat. would advise giving the lord the Axe of blind fury.
also, predators excel when they are kitted for a specialty, but not if they are disparate with their role -- if you want them to pop tanks, go tri-lascannons. if you want them to kill infantry, give them heavy bolters and autocannon. If you don't want to spend so many points, but still want to deal with light vehicles (and MC's to boot,) then give them AC and Lascannon sponsons. but not lascannon/HB -- it isn't as effective for dealing with troops as AC/HB, and can't do much in the way of tankbusting at all.
Otherwise, you've got a good bunch of models to choose from, just advise heldrakes to fill out the rest, as this edition appears to bank on them.

From what I know of the Marine codex, it is much more efficient to have a Predator with a autocannon turret and 2 sponson lascannons rather than the other way round.
If you can get a Daemon Prince with the Black Mace and wings, you're laughing.
I would personally re-arrange the organisation so that Kharn went with 35 MoK / Icon of Wrath cutlists. Getting Init4 and Feel No Pain on cultists is cute but a bit pointless. If presented with Kharn & Berserkers and Lord & Cultists - people will just open up on the berserkers and ignore the significantly less scary unit. If you run Kharn + Cultists and Berserkers you have two properly scary threats to overwhelm someone with. Also means Kharn won't be hacking up your own expensive berserkers.
If you want proper tarpit get Typhus, get zombies. Consider the Aegis Defence Line and Quad Cannon to cover your lack of air.
I assume your CSM are taking some upgrades? You need some plasma in there to deal with terminations and MCs. Generally speaking, unless you have a specific purpose for them 3 x 10 CSM w/t 2 special weapons is going to be more effective than 1 x 10 and 1 x 20.
