I'm gonna start playing warmachine and i want to start with khador, and I'm wondering if Strakhov is good or just not someone to buy.

Strakhov is a very good caster. I wouldn't recommend starting with him though. He is very, very nuanced

I'd go battle box with pSorcia or even pButcher (as I've never gotten the hang of her myself).

I have heard Vladimir is also fairly good with the battlebox

I found him easier than p or e Sorcha to get to work, cant comment on the others as I haven't used them.

I will admit I have him stealth himself and give a jack superiority and not much beyond that.

I always found sorscha preety easy to use, but yeah, for beginners i would recommend pSorscha, pButcher or pVlad

How can you guys be leaving out pIrusk!? I learned khador with him and pButcher. He puts out fantastic buffs and has a good answer for soft/hard to reach targets which is something khador is generally lacking. How many menoth choirs have been taken down with Irusk's airburst spell? How many mechanics or other soft solos? He has the right spells and the perfect buffs that will teach a new player how your standard khador list works.

I just got pIrusk myself and he is amazing/ Superority and Iron flesh are probably the best spells in the khador list. Also his feat is both easy to understand and useful.
