I like the highlighting across the power armour he comes across as really striking. The only thing I'd change is to make the combi melta pop a little more, right now it just comes across as shade of grey to me (just a personal taste though) The gold on the backpack also came out really good.

I've recently started taking on commissions, if you'd like to talk a project over feel free to PM me here, or find me at:

Nice pose! Just gonna echo Mel here, but yeah, just reinforce some strong colors on the combi. Also, not to be a party-pooper, but the base cooooulllld use a little more work. W/e it's the model that counts and you've done a great job on that.
“The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed.”
its a nice pose but it doesnt really have a focus point... reason for this is because you have a black face, a black cloak, a black and dark metal weapon and a dark colored powerhammer...
i'd personally add more highlights to the face to give him more character, and i would give the cape a different color to brake up all the dark colors... and maybe an extreme white edge highlight on the hammer to make that pop?
its really not bad but it lacks visual interest... nothing that is a major hard job to fix though
how did you glue him to the base? plastic glue or superglue?
if its superglue (or anything els then plastic glue, get a knife inbetween his feet and the base and pry him off...
then get a cork mat and tear it to the size of your base. glue it to the base, paint it black, drybrush it with whatever colors you want and add some grass tufts... ill add some video's to clarify
