I'm new to this forum, and about a year into what looks to be a long-term GW hobby. While I'm a lifelong gamer, I've only taken the plunge into 40K and the Warhammer universe over this past year.

I'm currently running Codex Space Marines in 40K and looking to start a fantasy army. Looking forward to joining the discussion here.

Thanks, and I hope so as well. I'm greatly enjoying 40K, and I look forward to getting into fantasy. I like the fact that while they have a lot of things in common, mechanically, they are distinctly different systems.

Just have to get an army picked out, but I'm in no hurry on that. I can't stand the thought of putting an army on the field half-painted, so I won't be fielding anything until I've got at least 1500 points painted. General plan is to know the system pretty well, have the army painted, and actually start playing around mid-summer 2013.
