When it comes to Necrons, what units do you enjoy using the most?

Everyone has to have the basics: troops to score objectives, mandatory HQ unit. But what unit do you enjoy more than any other Necron unit? (What unit do you try to design your list and your game around because its just that awesome?)

I like triarch praetorians myself, something about killing terminators with i2 necrons that everyone thinks suck makes me all warm inside, more than once they've rolled up an opponents flank killing 2-3 units in a game.

Also a big fan of destroyers they are fast, tough and pack a punch marines hate, and can capture objectives in certain fights.

Wraiths and a D. Lord. are my favorite. Not just because they are awesome sauce I've always liked the combo. The 3 man squad from 3rd didn't work so I ran my Lord with Scarabs. Now that wraiths are better I have a viable squad.

I play warrior spam. Mainly because I haven't bought any Necron models since the previous codex was new lol. In my head I'm playing Space Undead, robotic zombies, undying horde, what have you

I just thimk that the c'tan are boss. They where they main reason I went with necrons in the first place.
Edit: I am working towards a 3 c'tan based army.

I love using some of the odder Necron units.

I had a C'tan with Pyreshards and Gaze of Death get locked in combat with a Space Wolf squad. Challenge -> C'tan's Hammer or Wrath kills the sarge and I win the combat, but the wolves stay in. Logan Grimmar joins the fight and it lasts 2 more turns before the C'tan falls, managing to strip Grimmar down to 1 and leaving 3 (at least, I think it was 3) other wolves left.

I love using 5 Wraiths and a Destroyer Lord, as they just seem to rip through everything. I have had some bad rolls with them that've cost me my whole squad though.

Currently, I'm working on a list that has minimal troops (2 squads of 5 Warriors), but will feature 2 Monoliths, 3 Night Scythes, and Imotekh with some Lychguard. Considering Spyders to sit behind the Monoliths or maybe Wraiths instead.

There's something deeply satisfying about eating away my opponents IG army's tanks with Scarab Swarms. Deep, soul nourshing goodness.

I really like Tomb Blades running with a Destroyer lord.

I am a huge fan of rolling the dice for a tesla destructor as well. I get so excited when those 6's come up!

Where people Live Free, or Die

THEY'RE ALL FUN!!!

But, if I have to pick:

6 Wraiths with a Destroyer Lord = borderline silly-effective cc hunter unit
C'Tan = always fun, regardless of what you give him
Doom Scythe = Mat Ward's true masterpiece. Guaranteed to lose you 1 friend per game

I enjoy using Triarch Praetorians and a Dlord in some of my friendlier games. I really like the models, so I try to bust them out every now and then.

I also like pulling the Doomsday Arks and Triarch Stalkers out, for fun. Again, mostly because I enjoy the models. All these are in my more casual lists.
