This looks pretty solid, but not familiar with the Helios.

Is the Helios the one with the whirlwind launcher? Seem mediocre?

Helios is the land raider with the mini whirlwind on it? Hum.. I dont know anything about that

I would drop the 10 bolters on that 20 man blog, and go for CCW. v

I don't think think this will work. I understand the reasoning behind the tanky HQ choices, but there's a limit to how much firepower they can take, and they're really the only targets you're presenting. Your list lacks any viable killing power aside from the blob squads (I am unfamiliar with the FW models in this list, so I could be incorrect here), so every bit of firepower is going to be heading for your blobs. 2+ save and Immune to ID or no, those extremely expensive HQ choices aren't going to make it across the table if your opponent doesn't have anything else to shoot at, especially in short table edge deployment games.

I'd recommend bringing Grimuldus for the fearless bubble and drop the other HQ choice and techmarine to invest in a more credible ranged threat to weaken your opponent for your blob before they get there and to draw fire from your footslogging marines.

I'm considering dropping them until the new white dwarf update comes out to be honest, their just not viable at the minute

Or you could give up and go home.

I think there is a lot of fat in this list that takes from the power you could have it.

Namely the techmarine, the Helios, the extremely expensive hqs, they are completely sub par and overcosted, they will not be winning the war for you, keep them cheap, like base chappy cheap, use only for utility of controlling your squads righteous zeal and granting fearless to shooting.

Any black templar list for a tournament should feature sword brethren terminators, for the 2 x heavy weapon in a 5 man squad with tankhunters.

Our bikes are an extremely useful option as well 3 plasma guns for 18 pts in a 3 man bike squad yes please

Techmarine with full servo harness, and add a storm shield. Put 19, of a 20 man squad behind him, with 1 neophyte leading the charge. If the unit gets shot at, the neophyte will take the first hits, if he goes down, then the techmarine should soak wounds up pretty good. 2+, 3++ with 2W. (then LoS! if anything else nasty comes in) Zeal closer to the enemy and repeat.

Black Tide can be effective like this.
